Laurel is a hair and makeup artist based in Sydney Australia. She graduated from Greasepaint Makeup College in London back in 1997, and since then has worked across the advertising, fashion and television industries in the UK and Australia.
Laurel has worked on print campaigns with icons such as Chris Colls and Anthony Horth (both based in New York and whom regularly shoot for American and Italian Vogue). She has worked on Australian Fashion Week, and on television advertising campaigns for "The Face" Australia and "Australia's Top Model".
Laurel's expertise has been called on by Global cosmetics giants such as LVMH, Trimex and COTY for advice, training and to represent various brands as their National Makeup Artist for PR and promotion campaigns.
She has appeared on "The Morning Show" and "Beauty and the Geek" (both Channel 7) as a makeup expert, and has worked on the iconic Australian drama "Packed to the Rafters". Her film credits include "Mary Bryant" and "Strange Planet" starring Naomi Watts.
Laurel created "Prep People" in 2003 to provide consultative advice and training to organisations who strive for unrivalled customer service. Prep people has partnered with brands such as Qantas, Gucci, Nespresso, McDonalds, Hilton, Sheraton and Westin to develop their appearance guidelines and provide training to ensure every customer experience team member is consistently and immaculately presented.
